PTM represents leading cotton cooperatives and merchants from around the world. We establish sustainable and close relationships with the firms we represent and aim to offer the best quality cotton in line with the needs of spinning mills and textile manufacturers in Turkey. Our company markets US, Brazilian, African, Australian and Indian cotton for Open End and Ring, and also sells American Pima and Akala cotton for mills that produce fine count yarn. We believe in providing all round, diligent service to our principals throughout all marketing and sales processes: We offer daily quotes to our extensive client database on behalf of our suppliers; present special offers tailored to individual customer’s needs; solicit inquiries; facilitate negotiation and sales; follow up each phase of every contract.

CALCOT Cotton Cooperative, USA

PTM is the exclusive agent of CALCOT Cotton Cooperative in Turkey. CALCOT was founded in 1927 in California and is one of the oldest and most prominent cotton cooperatives of the USA. With 1200 cotton grower members, CALCOT is among the largest US cotton exporters and the biggest supplier of the high-quality California and Arizona cotton. Bringing together also major Pima growers under its umbrella, the cooperative is a leading Pima exporter. Since 2005, CALCOT has expanded its operations to West Texas and New Mexico, and currently also markets Texas cotton.

CNCGC China National Cotton Group Corporation

China National Cotton Group Corporation (CNCGC), China’s state-owned cotton enterprise, was founded in 1993 to develop China’s cotton policy and manage its reserves. The corporation strategically expanded its operations since the 2000s to become an active stakeholder in every leg of the cotton supply chain in China including cotton logistics and trading. Also adopting an internationalization policy, CNCGC opened Hong Kong and Australia offices, and exports growths including US, Australian, Brazilian, WAF and Greek. The company’s total sales volume exceeded one million 300 thousand MT in 2017. CNCGC entered the Turkish market in 2018, trading various growths.

S&G COTTON TRADING, Australia and USA

S&G Cotton is a company of the Hong Kong based major textile manufacturer S&G Group. The company is among the largest importers of American cotton into China and it also purchases Australian cotton directly from the growers and sells to the Far East and Europe. With offices also in the US, S&G exports Australian cotton and upland cotton to Turkey.

VICUNHA, Brazil

With more than 40 years of experience in the sector, Vicunha is one of the largest textile manufacturers of Brazil and also works in cotton trade. In addition to factories in various parts of Brazil, the company has facilities in other South American countries and is among the foremost denim producers of Brazil. Set apart by its experience in all facets of the industry, Vicunha exports Open End and Ring cotton to Turkey.

FARMGATE, Brazil

A growing company founded by experienced cotton traders of Brazil, Farmgate exports Brazilian cotton for Open End and Ring both from Brazilian producers and major merchants.

KOTAK COMMODITIES, India

KOTAK Commodities is among the most prestigious and established cotton and textile firms of India; it works in cotton export and import and trades other textile raw materials. KOTAK is among the foremost brands in India’s commodity trade and exports cotton to countries all around the globe.
